Trust & Data
What keeps Spillway from screwing with your business?
You are connecting Spillway to real calls, recordings, messages, and a payment method. You should know exactly what that permits—and what it does not.
The provider grant, Spillway’s narrower application use, and tenant-scoped release authority are separate layers.
Direct answers.
Can Spillway sell my leads?
No. Spillway is not a lead marketplace and does not route your homeowner to another contractor.
Read the full rule →Can Spillway text every caller?
No. A call must satisfy the eligibility, contactability, suppression, and release rules before any message can be sent.
Read the full rule →Can connecting my provider send messages immediately?
No. An exact account connection can continue to activation, but Spillway still verifies messaging readiness and tenant-scoped release authority before any homeowner message can be sent.
Read the full rule →Can AI create an appointment or charge?
No. AI may help interpret and phrase grounded information. It cannot create availability, delivery evidence, or billing authority.
Read the full rule →Can I disconnect?
Yes. Provider access, live messaging effects, and billing have separate stop controls.
Read the full rule →What happens if something breaks?
The failure stays explicit. Missing state cannot become a green connection, delivered message, confirmed inspection, or subscription.

Your customers stay yours.
Spillway is built to
✓Continue eligible unfinished conversations for your company.
✓Keep provider data and outbound identity bound to one tenant.
✓Return the homeowner-confirmed time to your office by email.
Spillway is not built to
×Sell or reroute your homeowner.
×Create a shared lead pool.
×Use one contractor’s provider authorization for another.
×Replace your CRM or schedule.
Call eligibility
A call record is not permission to text.
Spillway may inspect authorized call information, but live messaging remains off unless every required state passes.
Unknown stays unknown. No send is the safe outcome.
AI boundaries
Language is not authority.
AI may help
✓Interpret an authorized call artifact.
✓Preserve the homeowner’s question.
✓Draft grounded contractor language.
✓Answer supported process questions.
AI may not invent
×Eligibility, consent, or customer identity.
×A real available inspection time.
×A provider delivery result.
×Billing authority.
When evidence is missing, Spillway waits, abstains, or routes the situation for attention.
Scheduling boundary
Your office controls its schedule.
Spillway does not require access to your CRM or calendar. It emails the office for available times, offers those times to the homeowner, and emails the final confirmed time back to the office to schedule.
Billing control
Every charge has a narrow rule.
Account separation
Contractor accounts stay separate.
Setup sessions, provider account references, selected numbers, call artifacts, messages, and recovery situations are tenant-bound. Browser-supplied tenant or provider identifiers are not treated as authority.
Provider failures
A failure cannot become success.
